For a school project my class is making Baby Baskets for teen mothers to help them out. We have made blankets but we need to add more. What would be helpful to a teen mom for their child? The kids are going to be anywhere between 1-5 years old. We only have $350 and we have to make like 20 baskets. Any suggestions would be great. I think I found an answer. Books, blocks, crayons and activity books (the kinds that have letters and numbers in them), plastic plates, bowls, and cups. It might not seem like these things are “needed”, but having these kinds of activities really helps kids prepare for school – they have to learn how to learn.
